The SELEGUIDE 10K is the ideal web-guide for centering the winded material in the desired position, and obtaining reels with a perfect profile.
SELEGUIDE web-guides are usually applied to machines equipped with winding/unwinding stations and are an ideal solution for any type of printing and converting machines.
The touch screen logic control allows the operator to control the position of the material in real time. The edge position is achieved by the ultrasonic, infrared and line/contrast sensors that, with a response adequate to the error, obtain a precise and quick control.
The SELEGUIDE web-guides guarantee an outstanding correction of both dynamic and static errors. SELEGUIDE web-guides are the ideal solution for all types of printing and converting machines, allowing the correction of the web position through the movement of a correcting mechanical frame.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Industrial sectors that benefit from employing SELEGUIDE 10K web-guides
SELEGUIDE 10K The system checks and controls the position of the edge of the material or a printed line, thus allowing a more precise alignment of the reels and avoiding waste of material. By providing a high degree of control granted by PID algorithms, the SELEGUIDE10K reacts in real time to errors. The system consists of a user-friendly operator panel with a LCD touch screen display, used for controlling a positioning frame. The correction signal guides an electrical linear actuator with end switches and servo center.
The measured error is controlled by reflective sensors, ultrasonic sensors or infrared sensors.
All parameters can be set from the operator panel. The system displays the measured error on an LCD display, which shows the deviation values graphically and numerically. The zero setting can be modified to move the offset level.
In the most sophisticated systems, the sensor can be motorized. It is possible to activate the center control by using two motorized sensors. The auto-center device is used for moving the edge guide in a central position, to start a new job with the same potential correction on both the sides.
SELEGUIDE 10K
The SELEGUIDE 10K is an automatic web guide system featuring the uncompromising design of new technologies. This system is setting new standards for a more precise alignment of the reels, avoiding waste of material and significantly improving the quality of the final product. Thanks to the PID algorithms, the SELEGUIDE 10K provides a high degree of control, and can react to errors in real time.

TSB: optical sensor for reading a printed line or a contrast.
TUS 10K: ultrasonic sensor for reading the edge of the material. The error is detected by the ultrasonic sensors.
TUS XS 10K: miniaturized ultrasonic sensor for reading the edge of the material. The TUS 10K XS sensor works at extremely high frequencies in order to avoid environmental disturbances.

TLS 10K New optical sensor for reading the printed line and the contrast, equipped with a LCD touch screen display through which the operator can easily perform all operations and the calibration procedure. The touch screen also allows the operator to control the reading of the material in real time. The sensor discriminates the line or the ideal contrast depending on the operator's choices. The consistency of the signal is further guaranteed by the new control algorithm, able to measure the width of lines and contrasts accurately. The new line scan array sensor ensures exceptional performances even with interrupted lines or any other lines near the selected one.

The correction signal is used for moving a linear actuator with internal limit end switches and servo centre sensors. Through the auto-centering device, the web guide is moved in a central position to start the correction with the same capabilities in both directions. The electric ball screw actuator is built to be resistant even in hard working conditions, with an extreme precision.
SELEGUIDE 10K - correcting frames The web control is obtained through the proper movement of a correcting frame.
The pivoting frame is directly driven by a linear actuator. The output roll is covered with cork to increase the grip for a better correction. The choice of the correct mechanical frame depends mainly on the width of the material and the specific application of corrector.
